Last yr a joined a new company. Much better worklife balance with fewer hours.
My colleagues didn't like me though and when I passed my probation I was told there was more responsibility than I was led to believe.
I've worked hard to get myself known in the company and the only downside is my colleagues still gossip and refuse to have any dealings with me.
This week they found out my responsibilities which could ve been divulged sooner and perhaps saved some awkwardness. They have made work quite unpleasant for me.Everyone else is fantastic though.
It is more responsibility than they have and more money. They assumed I was on their level.
We have to find a way to get along.
I cannot imagine how this will play out now.
I like to be positive and let bygones be bygones.
Not sure they will though.Anyone any advice?

I do and it is the worst I've experienced in decades.
I need them when the boss is off though.
