Our first festival - tent advice needed

We're off to our first festival soon and we obviously need to purchase a tent!

My thoughts are a tent big enough for 4 people (theres 2 of us) - we want to be resonsible and bring it back home again to use for a camping holiday in the summer.
So many to choose from though - help! Budget I'm guessing around £100 to £200.

Assume you have bought one now as it starts on Wednesday, we went for a fully pop up tent for two. £99 from Decathlon. We are also going to Download. I hate camping and everything about it so didn’t want to be spending any time putting up a tent (this one goes up in 2 seconds apparently). Have fun!

"Festival tents" are notorious for not standing up to weather, and you might get some! Tents for 2 are tiny. When I'm camping alone I use a 3 man pop up tent. I've got two Quecha pop ups and they've both stood up well. Have a look for them in Decathalon, they will have a lot of them set up, so you can properly see how big they are. The 2 seconds range will probably work well for you. I'd probably go for the 3 man version, which is £139.99.
You need something with an inner section, avoid anything that only has one layer between you and the elements. Try not to have mattresses pushed right up against the inside of the tent, even if you have two layers you don't want the inner shoved right up against the outer. Take your time folding the tent up and putting it away carefully, pop ups can be interesting to get back in the bag, but they do go in. I can put my big tent back in it's bag on my own.

Make sure it's double skinned (got a separate inner sleeping bit) for waterproofness.

Recommend the quechua fresh and black range. 4 man for 2 people and their stuff will be great.

Biggish porch is a nice luxury for dumping boots etc.

Practice putting it up before you go!
