I just wanted to share a little victory, I have struggled for the longest time, maybe 15-20 years with sugar and weight and diet and exercise...and I've done it, I've quit sugar and I am eating healthily and exercising. I've been doing it for nearly two months now and it's no longer a novelty. I don't really have anyone to share it with who really cares how momentous it is to me, and I think it's possibly quite hard to relate to as everyone wants to improve diet and exercise, so in some ways it's nothing special. And it isn't really, it's just small consistent actions.
I take a medication that gives me brain fog and the things I am doing really help with this. Also I have anxiety related to breathing due to a lung condition and I was numbing this out with sugar. In some ways this makes it more of an achievement as I am more acutely aware of my breathing now...but the exercise and looking forward to good food helps.
