Looks fantastic and is growing old gracefully. An older actress without fillers etc...

I'm sure she has help. They all do. And that's ok.

DancedByTheLightOfTheMoon · 10/05/2023 09:50

Although l am a fan of growing older naturally, it's a womans personal choice as to how she goes about it, and l don't judge.

JuneShitfield · 10/05/2023 09:51

I couldn't give two hoots what she looks like or how gracefully she is ageing. She's a terrific, talented actor and I will watch virtually anything with her in it. Except Mary Reilly, which was absolute mince.

It is a problem when you can't see facial expressions - which is an important part of their trade!

Andie McDowell looks good too, though I think she has had subtle work done.

AmandaHoldensLips · 10/05/2023 09:56

I've met Julia Roberts and she's really nice!

rewilded · 10/05/2023 09:57

I just have a new found respect for her. It must be hard to resist following the other path. 'Gracefully' was the wrong word, she looks dignified and authentic.

She's managed to make the transition from hot young female star to older female star which is bloody hard to do. She looks beautiful, obviously she would've had a bit of help but if she has it's been done very subtly and she still has character in her face. I like watching her.

PenelopeTitsDrop3121 · 10/05/2023 10:11

Don't like her. Never forgiven her for having a fling with Jason Patric and jilting Kiefer 3 days before the wedding.

greenlychee · 10/05/2023 10:13

she does look gorgeous and is naturally beautiful. But I think most people with her amount of money can age more gracefully than most. You have time for beauty treatments, yoga, organic food etc etc.

rewilded · 10/05/2023 10:13

🤣 Yes I had forgotten. You are right -although what happened in the 90s stays in the 90s! @PenelopeTitsDrop3121

"Slippery little suckers"

Delivered so perfectly.

EachandEveryone · 10/05/2023 10:23

Oh, I dont rate that latest film with her and George Clooney. She does look incredible though. Money helps. There are quite afew of them now who are aging normally. I think its a backlash Naomi Watts off the top of my head.

Bimbom · 10/05/2023 10:37

I think the more talented and successful they are, the less likely they are to go down the plastic surgery route. They know that they will continue to get age appropriate roles and value facial expression in their acting. Think Meryl Streep, Emma Thompson etc

krill · 10/05/2023 10:43

She's definitely had botox, glaringly so and Google says she admits that. I'd be surprised if she hadn't had any filler.

There must be a lot of pressure working in her industry and I don't blame her.

I watched the beginning of that, and it seemed woeful, even though I have a high tolerance for that kind of nonsense if done well.

Mystic Pizza is my favourite JR film. Everyone involved is about 16, and kind of adorable.

I think Nicole, blows that theory, out of the water.

I suppose it’s easier to age gracefully if you looked like Julia roberts to start with.

Me too, but I am suffering through to the end...the lush setting is dragging me along.

All those saying it's easy to age beautifully if you've got money, have you seen Madonna recently?

I love JR and thinks she looks amazing, but not like she's tried to erase all signs of ageing or drastically changed her face. Kate Winslet is doing it well too I think.

EachandEveryone · 10/05/2023 12:07

And George Clooney just gets better with age

Delatron · 10/05/2023 12:08

She’s just had very good, subtle work done. So for those who say ‘you can always tell’
not true. She’s definitely had Botox. I’m unsure about filler. She’s kept everything very subtle.

I actually think Andie McDowell is one of the very few who has had nothing done (unless this has recently changed) ditto Sarah Jessica Parker. Most others have - some have just gone overboard that’s all.

Delatron · 10/05/2023 12:10

Naomi Watts looks pretty untouched too, yes.

ILoveToSquanderPromise · 10/05/2023 12:11

I watched the new film with her and George Clooney the night after I'd watched Top Gun Maverick and the difference was amazing. Their film was awful (who needs a visa anyway!) but at least their faces moved Grin

EachandEveryone · 10/05/2023 12:50

That film must’ve lost millions and it’s a shame as it could’ve been good
