Resigned from job, can you get a rental?

Hi,

Is it possible for someone who has resigned from their job with nothing else lined up to get a rental property? I suppose they could pay say 6 months rent upfront from savings but doesn’t that make them less attractive to landlords? Thanks

In my experience, they want evidence of steady income. But if you can show evidence of substantial savings and pay several
months in advance, they
might go for it.

I doubt you would get anything as you will be see. As a risk

I agree. Rental properties are in very high demand right now, landlords can afford to be fussy.

Paying 6 months upfront won’t work as many people who offer to do stop paying after the 6 months is up.
