Recommend me a non high street jewellery brand please

A friend has a big birthday coming up and I'd like to get some jewellery. I'd rather not go to a high street brand.

Oh dear no I can't! My bangle was a present from several friends who clubbed together. We usually aim to keep present costs low for each person but even so....

There was a silversmith recommended on a Style and Beauty thread last week I think? Her stuff was lovely and very affordable. It was an Etsy shop with a silver shell necklace - I can't remember the thread though.

I ended up buying some of her earrings - mismatched silver ones and I absolutely love them. I'll try to link.
