I've just seen this news article and wondered how many people feel the same way?

As tiring as it can be to have young children, personally I think the teenage years are the toughest!

Thanks for posting. I wish I had never had a child the only happy moments in my life are when she's not there and sleeps

If the woman in the article regretted having a child so much why did she have another?!

No, I don’t regret having my child, he’s the best, and I’m a better version of myself for having him. He is joyful.

I do feel some sympathy towards parents that don’t feel this, or the circumstances are so difficult they aren’t able to enjoy their child, but I have no sympathy when they go on to have a second and moan that’s it’s so hard and they regret it all over again.

I do genuinely feel sorry for anyone who thinks this way. It must feel so isolating. I think it can only be a good thing that people have a place to express these feelings openly though. My own mother once admitted that she never wanted children and if she had the chance again she probably wouldn't. As much as it wasn't a nice thing for me to hear and I've never told my siblings I do think she probably would've been happier if she hadn't. Societal pressure made her give in.
