Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has any bright ideas on how to remove these stains from my pink patent leather purse? I think the purse has been up against an aveeno hand cream in my bag which has transferred some of its print onto the leather.
I only got it for Christmas and I’m really sad to have damaged it, I’ve got a matching card holder too, which was a lovely gift!
So far I’ve tried;
- Generic baby wipe.
- 70% Isopropanol Alchohol wipe.
- Another kind of strong alcohol/disinfectant wipe at work.
- Hair spray.
- A very tiny amount of 100% Acetone nail remover on an inconspicuous area using a cotton bud (expected this to damage the purse further, but it actually didn’t).
- Normal acetone polish remover.
- Some aftershave (Dior Sauvage in case you were interested 🤣).
None of this has worked thus far. Anything else that I may not have thought of?
I don’t really want to try a magic eraser as they’re abrasive and likely to damage the finish of the purse.
