What can I use to protect furniture from dust from a chimney removal.

I am having the chimney removed in my kitchen. I won't be replacing the kitchen cupboards.

I know there's going to be a crazy amount of dust but wondered what I can use to cover up the kitchen cupboards/ cooker / over etc.

I will empty all the cupboards but worried about appliances.

TIA

The builder should do that. Or get dustsheets from Wickes etc

Plastic sheeting from B& Q or Wickes taped over the front , top, and sides of units ( all the cracks basically) also one taped over the clean side of the door to that area will stop the dust travelling through the house.

Building dust gets everywhere. Tape dust sheets down. Tape all round closed doors.

Good luck.

Ah thank you. Chimney has been out and yes there was dust everywhere upstairs too but once I cleaned up its been fine.
