Do you know who I mean?

I have brain fog and struggle with names ( a lot). Tonight everyone at the table knew who I meant when I said 'actress with short brown hair. She was in a police comedy series with the man from Notting Hill who went to get the cappuccinos.'
And then we all laughed at my twisty turny brain.
Do you know who I mean?
Do you ever do this and have any other examples?

Thin blue line, James Dreyfus is the actor you're thinking of lots of that series have been in Richard Curtis films

I was actually thinking of Cathy Burke. The odd thing was that everyone knew who I meant even though the clues were thin at best.
Does anyone else do this or is it just me?

I knew the male actor from the description but would never have got Kathy Burke. I knew they were in Gimme, Gimme, Gimme together but I didn't know she'd been in a police drama.

I'm always doing this. I find if I don't think about it then the name pops back later!
