Tips for going by train from London to the concert at Windsor tonight by train..

I know I’m so lucky to be going to the concert tonight… but it’s going to be a right palaver by train, isn’t it? Am girding loins and grateful for any tips. We live near Paddington so the Elizabeth line to Slough is the easy part. 👑

Slough-Windsor trains run every half hour but then it's very quick.

They are putting extra trains on because of the concert. Slough to Windsor is only 6 minutes by train. You can also go direct to Windsor from Waterloo but that takes a bit longer.

Yes Slough (platform 1) to Windsor is very quick and the station is opposite the castle. Very easy journey. Will be busy but fun!

And the getting home part… how hellish is it likely to be? Normally I would have a few drinks and be very relaxed after a concert but I don’t think tonight’s going to be That Sort of Thing
