Longest Wordle Streak

I tried to find a recent Wordle thread to ask this but couldn't.

I've tried to find online how long the longest Wordle thread is but the only info I can find is very out of date from when it first started getting big so I'm turning to MN to get some ideas of how long is a long streak?

I broke mine a few weeks ago when, with the letters I had left, I could have had unpin or the correct unzip and I picked wrong. I'm still sore about it!

That sounds so annoying! I never manage a long streak because I always end up forgetting to do the puzzle one day after a few wins. I’ve given up now and just wordle when I feel like it. What’s your longest streak?

That would be good to know. Mine is only 44 as I often look at the clock and see it's passed midnight and I've missed it (some party animal these days!)

Mine was 308, now a paltry 14. Don't think I'll ever get to that again!

I got up to 109. Its an infuriating game.

Prior to that I had got 49 3 times.

I’m on 223 at the moment. I have a system which seems to be working well. I’ve struggled with a couple difficult ones though.

Mine is 520. It's actually 14 more than that, but NYT froze my stats for a fortnight when they bought the game! The streak is straight from the beginning of me playing, so 100% - it's my mission to prove that it's feasible to avoid losing if you have the right strategy.

Mine’s 110. The ones I’ve lost one are the ones where you have 4 of the letters, and the 5th could be many different works. So for example I might get fairly early that it’s _IGHT but you have to just guess if it’s light, might, tight etc etc. Today’s was like that too!

@Sammysquiz I try and find a word that contains as many of the possible letters when I'm at that point to eliminate/confirm which one I need. I know someone who plays on hard mode though, which I didn't even know existed, where you can't do that

Sammysquiz - yes, I got stuck with IGHT once, with L, M or N left to go with it but only two goes left. So I did "LEMON" and discovered that the answer was LIGHT.😉

I got to 538 and then bombed out today!! Played it everyday since I started so finally back to zero - uuurgghhhhh

I just added an overlay (someone has already tried claiming my screenshot was their own)
