What will happen to all the unsold Coronation merch?

I was at the shops today and they were full of it. Next and M and S, for example, had lots of fairly high quality stuff e,g, cushions and clothes.
Will it go straight to landfill or will there be other uses, ways of recycling it?
Anyone in the know, know?

It'll be flogged off at knocked down prices, I expect. You'll see it lying round in £1 shops eventually.

I was hoping to pick up some of it half price as I'm visiting relatives abroad and British coronation tat seems like the perfect gift 😂

I mean they had some nice things in M&S like the hand wash and lotion sets. I wouldn't mind one for myself if I can get one.

I went after the Coronation around 4pm . Everything had been removed? It was very odd. I didn't see one item Coronation related. I was looking for a bargain ... Nothing

Empty shelves here. I went this morning for a last minute t-shirt and the coronation crisps and….all gone! Kids wear completely sold out and no Colins. There was one Union Jack fleece hoodie left in M&S!

In the not too distant future it'll end up bing sold in charity shops, for vastly reduced prices.

There were only very few Coronation Colins when I bought one in the week at our M&S they were sold out yesterday when I looked as I was hoping for another one in the sale next week if they had a load more in that didn't sell. It was very nice, DH and I ate it today, I think they must have been quite popular, only thing there yesterday was shortbread so there may be some of that reduced. I didn't see anything else coronation related yesterday in M&S

When I looked for mementoes a few days ago, there was hardly anything in the shops anyway.

Some of it will be sent to refugees etc. The useful stuff like blankets and clothing etc.
