Please can somebody hold my hand

My marriage is over. My life has been punctuated by a series of traumatic events and this appears to be next in line. My mental health isn't very good and I'm terrified for the future.

Please can somebody hold my hand and tell me it's going to be OK?

You'll get lots of support on here. The 'relationships' board is very supportive. I am sorry that this is happening to you and have been through it myself.

Sorry to hear this. Virtual handholding.

Thank you. Does anyone know if there are STD tests online that will cover everything I need to be tested for? Just trying to be practical.

Do you have support for your mental health? Medication or counselling? If not, seek support and don't wait.

Do you have emotional support in rl, people to talk to?

I'm waiting for help from secondary care, but haven't got it yet.

I don't think I can fund private support right now.

I think I will be careful what friends I spoke to. Lots just won't be able to relate and I need people who get it. So probably the more mature friends who have been in my shoes.

Yes, approach a trusted friend or family member and talk it over.

There is no magic bullet unfortunately, to get over the end of a marriage. It is just a process of recovery but you will come through it, as we all do.
