I'm expecting this guy to go 246 oooohhh 1.

MrsFinkelstein · 06/05/2023 11:09

"I come not to be served, but to serve".

I never cry, but I got a teeny bit teary at that moment between him and wee Samuel.

Why does Penny Mordaunt always have a central role in these things. Is there something obvious I'm missing?

It's something to do with her role on the Privy Council.

MidgeHardcastle · 06/05/2023 11:09

Love it all so far. Claire and Huw so knowledgeable. C&C both look nervous, probably knowing how long the next bit's going to go on for! I want a wee myself, goodness knows how they're bearing up.

willWillSmithsmith · 06/05/2023 11:09

Surely H has got to feel some emotion in this, some pang of loss that he has.

BadlydoneHelen · 06/05/2023 11:09

Charlotte is in white with a little cape holding her little brothers hand

🤣

Glad I didn't see that until he'd finished!😂

Harry's cutting a bit of a lonely figure.

And sat behind Anne's big tasselled hat! 😂😂😂

MeinKraft · 06/05/2023 11:10

'I know. Can you imagine his teacher on Monday... 'did anyone get up to anything interesting this weekend?'

He'd probably do what my son does after a weekend of birthday parties, nature walks, museums, trips to the zoo and McDonald's and an hour of Xbox; 'I played Xbox'

Ladysaurus · 06/05/2023 11:10

This vocal arrangement is beautiful.

I was so pleased that she got to do it, purely because if the queen had died a bit earlier it would have been Jacob Rees-Mogg, and I bet he was fuming.

Fuck that, almost worth the damage Truss did to the economy.

Yiayoula · 06/05/2023 11:10

ShamedBySiri - yes ! 🤣

Iwasafool · 06/05/2023 11:10

Why have the BBC got it on BBC1, BBC2 and the news channel, I haven't checked the parliament channel but it might be there as well. Fine to have it on for people to watch but surely having exactly the same thing on all the channels is overkill?

Thanks!

That young boy who did the first speaking bit to Charles. Brave young lad! Bet his parents are proud.

They couldn't repeat the Candle again 😉

BadlydoneHelen · 06/05/2023 11:11

BBC2 is signed

Casuaala · 06/05/2023 11:11

A bit late, but another great solo. Also, I've just spotted some of the floral arrangements, so lovely and colourful.

I feel like I should have changed out of my pyjamas for this. What time do they pop the crown on?

Yeah I was planning a prosecco while I watched but it feels too early so I'm stuck with water as I darent get up to make tea in case I miss something
