Sent two passports to same address

Hello there!

Me and the mother did a renewal for our passports today and they asked us to send ours back, checked the postcode they were being delivered to was the same, however printed the same address for both, not realising they had our application number in the address too.

Do you think this will be a major issue? I sent them an email but worried this will screw the applications up?

Hope they will be okay but worried, and they're closed until Tuesday.

I would have thought that they can link the passports to your application(s) by passport number in the absence of an application reference number. Fingers crossed for you.

Yeah I'm just glad it was going to the same address, surely we can't be the only ones doing it when families renew.

I sent off my kids’ old passports in the same envelope, and only after posting them did I realise I’d been instructed to send them to separate offices. It was fine.

There is a website or Twitter page somewhere which gives you average current turnaround times for each office, if you’re in a rush.

It says if given different addresses to choose one of them for family applications. I recently applied for first ones for my daughters. I was given 2 addresses but used one envelope for both. I think I did write both application numbers in address but can’t remember.
They should be able to link them I think. It all updates online quickly so you should see online if all ok soon.

@superpain, I have same concern as yours, which is I have received my daughters confirmation but I haven't received mine. Just want to ask if is yours is sorted? How did you contact them?
