I'm not sure if I am over thinking here , so looking for some opinions please.
We have just came back from a week's stay at a holiday village in the UK. At this village there are no barriers etc and it is pretty open to the public. Yesterday morning we had finished a painting activity as I was packing up my DS went with my DM & DH to a small arcade area, when I arrived he'd gone they both thought the other had him. I alerted staff and ran about looking for him , luckily my DM found him in the ladies toilet. I find a few things odd and I am not sure if myself and my DM are overthinking so would appreciate any opinions:
- My mum found my DS in the ladies toilet, he couldn't have opened this door on his own. She could see the door rattling when she opened it a lady was stood right behind him, she didn't say a word to my DM
- My DS had no reason to wonder to where he did , it was an empty corridor if he was going to wonder off it wouldn't be where I would think he would go
- When I was speaking to another lady who told me my DS had been found , the lady from the toilet walked past me and looked right at me , I just got an odd feeling . I watched her leave alone no children/partner etc . This was a children's entertainment venue , I hadn't seen her there all week
- We went back to the corridor and noticed the fire door directly opposite the ladies toilet had been opened this led to what looked like a staff car park and a main road
My DH said he was missing for just over a minute before my mum luckily found him. I told a member of staff but not sure they checked cameras etc. Does anyone else find this odd or am I over thinking. I took my DS back to the toilet and he said the lady with the black hair spoke to him but that's it , he has only just turned 3 so couldn't get too much info from him .
