What is your Friday evening routine?

It's occurred to me that I do absolutely nothing productive on Friday evenings. So I'm wondering what everyone else is up to tonight or in general on a Friday eve, to see if it's just me, and maybe to get some inspiration!

Tonight was a walk after work, home for a takeaway and some TV while making some things/painting items for a friends hen weekend. Only just stopped now and can't bring myself to get off the sofa!

I miss the days when I used to go out and socialise on a Friday evening, it's more rare to do that now, but then on Fridays I don't usually have the energy! Maybe in the summer...

Your Friday evenings are busier than mine, lol! Mine are like all my other evenings. I’m my mother’s carer. Evening is getting her blood sugar reading, insulin shot, pills and eye drops done, heating up our dinners (our meals come from the community kitchen and are reheated), eating, watching a couple of DVDs, giving my cat her evening medication, washing the dishes, getting my mother to bed (the medication ritual again, night time drink, bathroom, take her to her unit and get her into her pyjamas). Then my cat’s second lot of medication and at last go to bed to read or tool around on the ‘net for a while.

As two retirees we await the repeated many times watching Doc Martin. We used to live in the next county and having visited Port Isaac it is a truly beautiful place.

Previously we did go out sometimes on a Friday night but was only as far as the pub.
