Has anyone found something that helps severe pmt?

I’ve tried progesterone in the past (mini pill and mirena) neither worked - mini pill made it worse and I had to have the mirena removed after 6 weeks as I was in constant pain.
i cant take the combined pill.

Im at the point I think I need to live alone for approx 10 days each month. It’s absolutely horrendous and is making me miserable.

Does anyone have any advice or remedies I’m desperate

I moved to the copper coil for this reason. Whilst I still feel I have symptoms of pms at certain times of the month, they're nowhere near as bad as when I was on hormonal contraception.

I had serious PMT, it was awful, since going into the menopause I’ve found that I’m VERY progesterone intolerant. I always struggled with the pill and refused to have the Mirena coil fitted, this has progesterone in it.

At the age of 30 I was offered a hysterectomy, which came as a shock. The gynaecologist then advised me that I could try Agnus Castus, it’s easily available, it was a life saver. I avoided the hysterectomy simply by taking this little herbal remedy, it’s fantastic.

My daughter had a naughty hormonal mare so we stuck her on this, it worked brilliantly. She was such a cow and very dangerous kicking out etc, at half a tonne it was scary.
