Introverts

I came across Susan Cains Ted talk and book last year and realised how much I’ve been trying to live to an “extrovert ideal” and why I just end up feeling burnt out. I think I’d fallen for all the myths out there that if I was an introvert I’d be “boring” and couldn’t be successful at work 🙈

I’m ready to fully embrace my inner introvert…does anyone know of any other books, podcast etc on introversion that are good?

Introvert here. I like the book 'Introvert Power' by Laurie Helgoe. Lots of information and useful tips about accepting who we are rather than trying to conform to an extravert's world.

There’s a book called Quiet, the power of introverts in a world that can’t stop talking.

also Pinterest for Introvert vs extrovert humour.

Thank you - I haven’t come across that one so will add it to my list!

Quiet is the Susan Cain book that really opened my eyes, it’s a fantastic book!

I’d never thought of using Pinterest - thank you 😊
