I'm late 40s and I never get headaches - I don't think I've ever had one. Last night, I had what I can only describe as an awful tension in my head, not a pain as such. I couldn't keep my eyes open and woke up during the night and it was still there, gradually eased this morning, but I felt so awfully tired today and the weekend. I run and literally had no energy at the weekend. I was taking minutes at a work meeting today and really struggled - found it hard to remember entirely the last sentence someone had spoken, which never happens.
I also had the same issue 2 months ago, lasted all night but felt nauseous the next day, which I didn't today.
As I said, I'm wondering is this what migraine feels like?
I'm on mirtazapine for the last 2.5 years, no side effects at all, also got Mirena coil fitted 7 months ago, just in case it's relevant.
