Looking for funny books for a five year old

Does anyone have any that they could recommend, please? We're looking for something to make him laugh, he enjoyed Michael Rosen funny story box set, and he enjoyed me reading some of the Dirtie Bertie stories, but they're a bit hit and miss and not particularly funny.

I'd be reading to him at bedtime- thanks!

Have you read Flat Stanley? The series is quite extensive now, so can't speak for all of them but the ones we've read were quite funny.

It's a bit dark, but I loved Beware of the Frog and I remember DD laughing at it

When I taught Yr 1, they loved Sue Hendra picture books.

Oi Frog & friends are popular with my 5 year old.

The Oi Frog series is fun
