Which tablet for DS?

Hi,

Wanting to buy my DS a tablet to use on long car journeys/on the plane etc.

I’m unsure whether to get the Fire Hd Kids tablet or the normal Fire Hd tablet & just buy a strong protective cover for it. What’s the difference?

How old is he?

I'm fed up with our Amazon fire tablet. It's constantly showing a ton of crap apps (for my girls it's painting nails or makeup) if using the kids profile. Limited apps of stuff we might want. Though all are "safe". Adult profile is like any other android. We installed the Google play store for more variety but that voids warranty. About 3 years old and last 6 months it's been freezing, randomly switching off etc.
Looking for a new device now as kids need something decent for school work.

The Amazon fire kids are about as useless as a chrome book.

Get a cheap old iPad from CEX and save yourself the frustration.

Agree re fire kids. Ours does the job - for now - but unless you get a really new model the storage is shit and they are so slow!!

Amazon sell reconditioned iPads with a warranty.
