Which seats would you suggest I book for me and my 8 year old DD?

Stalls, as central as you can or front row of the circle are the best imo.

TeenLifeMum · 02/05/2023 23:25

I would disagree with stalls for an 8 year old. Front of the balcony is ideal but any of the tiered seats are good. I am pretty sure the visibility is good all round but if you Google the theatre name and view from my seat you can take a look. That’s what we did for phantom of the opera.

Check out seatplan and theatre monkey websites. You can see the best seats for your budget (theatre monkey) then see the view you'd get (-seatplan ) as people take photos of the seats.

Stalls, right by the central aisle!

IncyWincyGrownUp · 02/05/2023 23:47

It’s a really steep theatre, so don’t go too far back on the upper tier or you lose the front of the stage behind the balustrade.

How would stalls row C aisle seats be? I've had a look at the photos and it can be hard to tell as often people take photos before everyone has sat, or they appear to be stood up.

I'm a bit nervous about the bar restricting the view from the circle as that's what happened when we watched frozen a couple of years ago

Apparently the Cambridge Theatre had good stage visibility in all seats but I’d definitely book nearer the front if I went again.

YerAWizardHarry · 03/05/2023 00:09

Honestly I think any of the stalls seats are totally fine!

peachespeachespeaches · 03/05/2023 00:12

We were in nosebleed seats and bar a tiny bit of leaning forward occasionally it was fine. It was twice the price to sit three rows in front with arguably no different view.

Elfeatenbydog · 03/05/2023 00:31

We’ve just been tonight! Aisle seats would be great as the cast use the central aisle throughout the show. We sat in the stalls and could see really well although I did have to adjust to see round the person in front each time they moved their head!
