Does anyone know if the school provide work for students to do at home while suspended?

yes they do.

Depends how long the suspension is for. We provide work for the first six days, the pupil reintegration team take over after that.

Yes they do. It’s a requirement.

Thank you all.
The suspension is for 2 days, the incident happened last Friday and that was when I was informed of the suspension and that he couldn't go back to school until Friday.

I haven't had any other information or contact (granted it's been a bank holiday and strike day today) so didn't know if he was to do some work from home tomorrow and Thursday or whether the suspension meant he wasn't to access any work etc as part of the exclusion from school.

In my school we email the work to the pupil on the day they would usually have their lesson. So say I usually taught your ds period 4 on Thursday I would email it to him Thursday morning at some point before his lesson time. If I wasn’t due to teach him I wouldn’t be required to send any work.

If it's two days, why isn't he back until Friday?
We would put work on teams on the day on which we teach him

You will get work from tomorrow if the school was closed to students (or your child's yesr group) today.

He was home learning today due to the strike so the suspension starts tomorrow.

Thank you for all of the replies, will keep an eye out in the morning for any work thats been set for him.

He didn't get any work set for him.

I printed some worksheets on what he told me he is doing in maths and he did some English homework that is set half termly to be completed weekly so at least he is ahead with that now.

I'm going to bring up the lack of work in my meeting tomorrow, I understand the teachers are probably busy enough dealing with the children in school but if it's a requirement to provide work then it's not on that they haven't.
