2 small trampolines or 1 big one?

Dc have been begging for a trampoline for years and have just about worn me down. Dd8 is very sensible, gentle and would bounce responsibly. Ds6 (sen) is a little hurricane and I just know he would bounce on her, annoy her, and possibly injure himself or both of them. Taking turns isn't really an option because I'd have to police it and fuck that for a game of soldiers.

I'm thinking of getting 2 of the 6ft trampolines so they can have 1 each. This only gives a 4ft bouncing area though. I can't go any bigger than that as they wouldn't fit in the garden. Alternatively, I could get a bigger one to share that is cheaper and would fit nicely in the garden, but increases the possibility of fights/injuries. What would you do?

Also, neighbours on both sides already have trampolines so wouldn't be annoying them.

We have one of the smaller ones at work and I don't think I would recommend it - it's only really good for bouncing up and down in one spot, you can't move around on it and because it's smaller and lower to the ground it doesn't seem as bouncy. The kids don't really spend much time playing on it.

Definitely one bigger one. I think you'd be mad to get two smaller ones! They might still try and go on together anyway even if you did have two smaller ones.

I got a spring-free trampoline which is quieter and, apparently, safer. I have a 6yo who is similar to yours and has managed not to injure himself or his younger sibling so far, touch wood.

I think one big one.
From the first day you get it give them a timer/Alexa and they take turns of 2 minutes each. (I ended up doing this yesterday when my 3 all wanted a go at the same time).
The bigger ones really are better.
