Can you help me identify this

This appeared randomly on the bedroom floor. Nobody appears to know what it is which makes me suspicious! One side is hard plastic, other is rubbery and it goes together but looks like it's been cut open. Any ideas?!!

How big is it? Is it a case for a razor blade?

I thought the same, Stanley blade package, size dependent. Any workmen been in?

It is about razor blade size, but it isn't that! I'm really stumped. No workmen in the bedroom, but there has been a windowman in a different room. Could it be window related?

Not saying it is but my first thought was those electronic tag things on items in shops?

Ah yeah, like part of a UPVC unit, could well be, would make sense being soft on one side.
