Green of blue eyes?

DS had a few eye injury's the last couple of weeks. I took this because he's had something thrown in his eye and it's sore...

But looking closely at his eyes.. are they blue or are they green?? Always blue as a baby but DH are green. Mine are hazel.

If you aren’t sure then they are probably turning green. My dd’s eyes were bluey green at one year and green by 18m. My friend’s son had blue eyes for a while, green by age two.

They look light blue to me, but with the potential to turn bluey green.

Beautiful

Poor baby it does look sore. Lighting isn't the best in that photo to gauge eye colour. Have you got a photo where daylight is coming in? Whether inside or outside the sun behind you facing person in photo is best way of getting accurate eye colour.

Have you got a photo taken in natural light?

Both of mine started blue, one is green eyed and one blue eyed.

He looks like a baby on this pick for some reason but he's actually 6!

I think they might be changing. He has a very 'sun kissed' kind of skin as well like DH.

It's not a great pic. Have you got one in natural light? They might be blue changing to green at his age

@Wavescrashingonthebeach we've been to A&E for the scar on his left eye where a kid pushed him over then another kid has thrown bark in his eye! Confused had a good rinse in the shower tonight but if no better I'll maybe take to doc.

Poor lad doesn’t look well in the first pic. Nice to see him looking much better a d cheerful in the second.

They look similar colour to mine, I describe mine as grey. They aren’t quite blue; but they aren’t any other colour either!

runforyourdog · 30/04/2023 23:41

He's fine don't worry, 100% Cheeky Chappy! If his eye still sore tomorrow I'll get him an appointment with the doc.

Definitely blue in the second pic! If it helps, my eyes change colour when I’m upset/crying!

runforyourdog · 30/04/2023 23:46

Oh bless maybe that's it then!

Take note next time! 😉 😊

Wavescrashingonthebeach · 03/05/2023 12:03

Ahh he's a lovely boy. Hope he's ok. Eyes look blue to me with a teeny hint of green! My eyes change colour when I cry too! They go a lovely colour, just the bloodshot whites ruin it for me haha
