Could this be Pancreas/gallstones?

I remember well what a gallbladder attack felt like. Horrific stubby pain that I can't really describe

Anyway, my gallbladder was removed 18 months ago.

For a few days now, I think I'm fine and then BOOM! Full on gallbladder attack type pain. It leaves me bent over

But then it goes, and a faint pain just lingers. Then it's back again! It radiates to my back and is so bad I think I need an ambulance. Then it goes again and the same cycle continues

But every day I do have the pain, when it peeks, it's worse each day.

I went to the GP in a shock on Friday, because I had my gallbladder out 18 months ago and was really taken aback to experience that exact type of pain again. He said it's probably GERD and prescribed Omoprazole

It's done nothing though

Has anyone had a similar experience? Did it go away? They were happy to leave me for weeks and weeks for my gallbladder surgery after discovering the stones, so I'm assuming it really isn't an emergency plus I've already been to GP

But by God, it's hell Sad

I used to have gallbladder attacks, but haven't had it out so can't say except some of the same things that aggravate gallbladder can cause upset liver which can be similar pain.

I found drinking neat lemon juice helped calm it (a shot glass) and not eating or having caffeine for the rest of the day, then going to bed with a hot water bottle on it. But obv can't say if what upset my system is the same as yours, hard to know.

My auntie has had her gall bladder removed, she still gets pain when she eats certain things like chicken. She feels sick and clutches her stomach, seems to last around half an hour.

I would ask for some further investigations in to your pancreas as you say the pain is excruciating. Or go to A&E if the pain is that bad and getting worse then you need to be seen urgently.
