Please recommend a washer dryer

For space reasons I need a combined washer dryer. I had one 30 years ago and didn’t think much of it but I imagine things have moved on since then! Please recommend a good washer dryer to me. Medium budget, not Miele budget!

We have a hoover one, it’s not bad!! But nothing beats a proper dryer.

I wouldn’t dream of try to dry towels etc. if I wanted to dry a full load I would need to break it up into at least 2 lots of drying. I rarely use the dryer tbh

I have a Haier. Good washing machine, tolerable dryer for a washer/dryer. Takes longer than a stand alone dryer.

We also have a Haier and it does us well. We don't use the drier function more than we can help it but it does a good job when needed.

I have a hotpoint. It's ok. It has an 8kg wash and a 6kg dry. I only use it for towels and bedding though.

I am almost the same as reasonableadjustments: I have a hotpoint Ndd 11726. It's pretty good, washes 11kg + dries 7kg. I normally only dry towels, although I dried a load of clothes the other day owing to rain and child trouser emergency 😁. It replaced a previous hotpoint washer dryer which lasted about 7 years of daily use. Which isn't bad (although not great either). It is NOT fast, but I personally am happy leaving it on overnight (I know not everyone is) so for me it isn't a problem.
