Hi all
I'm starting to get a bit worried about my cat. She's not eating very much at the moment and has been off her food for the last few days. She did eat some dry last night and earlier yesterday had just under half a pouch of wet food and a few kibbles. But nothing today. She acts like she's hungry, going to the cupboard where the food is kept, looking all excited when I put the food out, but the. Just walking away from it.
Do you think she's just going off the food she used to like? Otherwise she seems well in herself, plays, chases the other day around the house, purrs. She did very gently bite my head yesterday while I was sleeping and started chewing my hair, which she doesn't ever do, but that's the only unusual thing.

She isn't keen on the vet so I'd rather not stress her out if this is normal.

Hi. I wonder whether she's got some issues with her teeth? My ragdoll had to have a couple of teeth removed and was off her food for a while. Our vet said she must have been in pain which upset me as she didn't show any signs that she was unhappy, just wasn't interested in her food.

I would make an appointment with the vet and have her teeth checked.

When my cat showed these symptoms it turned out to be morning-sickness!

Mine has been 'done' so definitely not morning sickness.
I will make an appointment for her on Tuesday if she's not better by then. I was wondering if it was the heat since it has been warmer recently. I've just offered her tinned tuna (Waitrose, no less) and she's had a few bites then wandered off. Although that could be because I only had tuna in oil and generally she prefers spring water!
