I’m sick of our house being a mess and want some ideas

Magic white sponges.
Soda crystals

Cif cream is fabulous for sinks, showers and baths. Method kitchen spray. Squirty bleach round toilet.

I am devoted to kitchen and bathroom spray. Nothing exceptional- whatever is on offer.

I fill up a plastic jug with hot water (we turned our hot water off last September due to COL - we do have an electric shower though!) and washing up liquid and wield a sponge mightily.

I also love CIF cream.

My main thing though as I have a child with excema and severe sensory issues due to autism is to have a really decent fabric conditioner- I use twice as much as recommended otherwise his skin breaks down.

My other must have cleaning supply (hack) is an annual professional oven clean.

Also- I have implemenetd the 'shopping bag of doom' (which I first heard about on here). I get a proper shopping bag (the tough ALDi ones) and go through every room and put everything that does not belong in that room in it. I do it about once every 2 days. Then i have a lovely Aldi bag filled with stuff I can go around the house and put back in it's own proper place.

Viakil... for everything!

It's like magic. I use it on glass, bathroom, our hob!
