Just discovered Vinted, I know I'm a bit late to the party but so far, so fabulous!

If you make an offer is it the done thing to follow up with a message too?

Also, why are so many of the photos SO crap, we all have fantastic cameras now, there's no excuse?! 🙄

Anyone had any really good bargains? 😊

No need for a message after an offer, as a seller the alert would be a pain in the neck.

Ive had loads of good buys-a few BNWT Girl In Mind dresses for £5, the rrp is usually about £45

I dont tend to message after making an offer, the seller can either accept or not.

I've sold loads and I get notified as soon as I get an offer.

My best bargain was a loungefly backpack and matching purse for my sister as she helped me out with something. £16, the bag would have been £75+ and the purse around £30. It was like brand new, she was so happy!
Only problem is dd2 now wants one for her birthday so on the hunt for another bargain 🤣

Yes you can 😊

FamilyAreEverything · 30/04/2023 13:24

Yes, but you only get a certain number of offers per day, I think it’s 5.
Welcome to Vinted!

Yes you can get bargains but not as many now, lots of people are semi commercial rather than individuals reselling eg people buying from charity shops and selling on rather than selling their unwanted old clothes

I like the idea of Vinted. I'm new to it too, and thought I'd bought some really nice stuff. But of the 6 items I have paid for 3 have had the sale cancelled by Vinted for not posting - under the 5 working days rule. Why put them on to sell if you're not that bothered?

DanceBeneathADiamondSky · 30/04/2023 14:23

I don't message after making an offer.

I've also sold quite a lot and nobody else follows up with a message IME.

I've had a number of people make offers which I've accepted and then they haven't actually bought the thing which is a bit weird!

I have sold a Cos trench, a Sezane dress and a Fossil bag for not much money. Haven't bought any real bargains but I do sell them as I just want rid of things by the time I've put them on there. I always get nice feedback so I'm happy with that

I've found this now too! Seems to be heading the way of eBay.
