Netflix download question

I have a very ill friend without a TV who has asked about a few of their series. They don't have a TV but do have a laptop.
I want to help them spend the day a bit more entertained by watching stuff in their native language.
Does anyone watch Netflix on a laptop? Not by downloading the app bit loggin on? I thought I would get a subscription for them. If I set it up at my home with my laptop, can I then go to their house and login?
Thank you

What tier of Netflix are you on?

Mine only allows watching on one device at a time.

I'm not on Netflix yet. I wouldn't actually be using it. It would be for them.

Yes you just google Netflix and use it as a website, that's how my DM uses our login.

Also it's a lovely thing to do for your friend OP Smile

Yeah you can just log in and watch via the website. No downloading needed

Do you / they use anything like iplayer on the laptop? It's the same

You can buy Netflix vouchers at the supermarket for them to set their own.account up instead? May be easier.

Yes you can but don't set it up at yours. Make it their account right from the off.
