Any radiographers here? DD is considering it as a career.

She had a careers talk yesterday and was quite interested in what the radiographer had to say. Would you recommend it? How do you choose between therapeutic and diagnostic? Any qualification recommendations?

(She's only 15 but this is the first time she's shown any interest in anything specific.

Happy to pass on questions to my mum who is a mammographer and cardiac radiographer. My mum is coming to the end of the career and making very decent money locuming around private London hospitals

Ooh thanks @Boussa. It does look reasonably well paid, and the opportunities for locuming/travelling are attractive.

Have look at Salford Uni. State of the art course for radiology. Just got a new Mri scanner, only 2 in Europe and this is one of them. The makers GEC train their staff on it. Radiology is a proper degree so that's the way.
