Children of same sex parents - how is school going?

Interested to hear both from people in a SS relationship with kids, and the (now grown) kids with SS parents. Or even people with family or friends in this situation.

How did school go, in relation to the family setup? My DW and I have a toddler so we’re a while away from school, but I’m curious about how kids tend to treat kids from a SS family.

I have friends in same sex relationships- mums. My DS is accepting. We had a proper conversation about it once but otherwise it's not a talking point.
