Re-re registering a birth.. lol. Any registrars on here?

Hi you lovely lot ..

does anyone know if a birth can be re-registered more than once ?

long story short, when I had my daughter me and her father weren’t together , after an argument he never ended up on birth certificate. Fast forward a few years we were together, and we re registered the birth to have her fathers details on the birth certificate. Fast forward a few more years we are now married, and was wondering if it would be possible to re register the birth again to say that she is a child of marriage?

Apparently so.

You can apply to re-register a birth if the father is not listed on your child's birth certificate or if the child's natural parents get married or form a civil partnership after the birth.

Yes you can I re registered my child birth after myself and her father got married when she was one.

Thank you both, but she has already been re-registered once to add her dads details.
i was wondering if she could be re registered, again, to say that we are now married?
