Moving gift for mum

After 37 years in the same house and 41 years in the same town my mum is moving from a 3 bed house to a very large 1 bed flat 3 miles from me (currently 25 miles away). I want to get her something other than just flowers for a moving present. She doesn't drink, not a fan of skincare products as she has set ones she likes. She is 79 in good health, plays bridge and likes coffee. I bought her a coffee machine for Christmas. Does anyone have any thoughtful ideas? Thanks

I would opt for a day out or afternoon tea, or something along those lines rather than a physical gift. If she’s moving, she’s probably going to have lots of boxes to sort out and may not want more stuff!

Could you get your family and friends round and throw her a welcome tea and cake party? Might help her get to know people and settle in quicker.

take her out for dinner the day she moves to save the hassle of unpacking before cooking
house plants
artwork or framed photos if she's into that sort of thing
a nice blanket / throw

If it were me I would like a coffee subscription or a magazine subscription.
