Nice coffee for a gift?

I have a friend who loves coffee and I wanted to buy her a travel mug & some nice coffee as a gift.

I don't drink coffee at all, so have literally no idea what's nice, any suggestions? Budget about £10 for the coffee (mug already sorted)

Do they have a grinder and/or coffee machine or are you looking for instant coffee?

If they have a machine I actually find Asdas extra special range the best (and I've tried loads). I like the 3 strengths generally and it's in the middle if you aren't sure what strength they go for.

If its instant coffee I know lots like the nescafe Azera range.

Ah yes, that would be useful! Probably instant, I was looking at Nescafe Azera but didn't know if I was being taken in by the tin! Good to know that it's actually nice and looks good as a gift too!

Jacobs coffee is a very popular brand that for some reason isn’t stocked in the UK supermarkets.
It’s available online and I think it makes an interesting gift as it’s not a household brand in the UK.

How does she drink her coffee? Cafetière ? Stove top ?

I suggest buying a packet of ground coffee from a local roastery, or you could try pact, grind, or monmouth

Honestly, I think she's more of a Gold Blend/Nescafe type of person, so I wanted something like that, but the very nice version!

Look on Etsy they have some lovely coffee gifts.

If you are getting her a travel mug, maybe get a load of nice flavoured sachet coffees like caramel latte etc and put them inside

If you're near Lincoln, pop into Imperial Teas on Steep Hill. It's more expensive, but fantastic coffee.

Can totally recommend Voodoo Comet, Vietnam Dragon Balls and Sumatran Tiger Mountain varieties.

They go online orders as well, but postage might mean it's not worth it for a small order

Great ideas, thanks everybody!
