Does your pay show up in the hmrc app earlier than from your company

I hope that makes sense. I have downloaded the HMRC app and I move that it gives you all the relevant info. What I was wondering is does you pay show here before you can view it from your work email?

Not as far as I am aware, I thought returns to HMRC were quarterly.

Real-time information is sent to HMRC each time you are paid. We usually send it sme day as we run payroll which is a few days before pay day so yes its possible

That's interesting... I'll keep looking closer to the time. I'm such a geek for stuff like this 🤣

In the last place I worked it would always show up 24rs before on hmrc than the companies payroll page.

Sometime the night before for me

NoWordForFluffy · 27/04/2023 23:18

I've had it up to 6 days before on the HMRC app. It's usually 1-2 though.

So say you're due to get paid on a Monday could you see it on a Friday?

In a similar vein, I see all three of my pension amounts appear on the HMRC web site each month up to a week before I get them paid to me.

It all depends when your company send the info to HMRC. They have to send it on or before they pay you most do it before but they could technically do it on the day.

Yeah, that would happen for me. Sometimes it's quite late in the day, so early evening. It appeared at about 7pm on Wednesday this week and I was paid the next day.

Mine does, although at the current company it's around the same time or a couple of hours before. Previous companies have been a day before.
Do bear in mind the figure they give you is only with tax and NI deducted, pensions ect will only show on company payslip.
