Plastic skirting boards.

It is time to paint my skirting boards and I hate doing it.

You can actually get plastic skirting boards. So you would never have to paint them I don't think?

Has anyone got them? Do they look nice? Have you had to paint them? Are there any you recommend?

Sounds horrendous - dont!

I got a joiner to put in a kind of additional skirting board to hide pipes and he used white pvc instead of wood! It looks shite, but having already had a disagreement with him about a couple of other things, I just let it go. It's going to be replaced at some point anyway when I redo that room.

I certainly wouldn't get it done deliberately!

Horses for courses, I would say it'd probably be fine in a newish build with laminate floors and quite minimal decor, but would look ridiculous in a Victorian property with otherwise original features.

If you get white ones then they may go yellow over time.
