Help setting up old TV.

I've been given a TV, larger than my tiny one it has a separate free view box. The free view box has a remote. The TV doesn't. Question 1 - do I need another remote?

2 - htf do I set it up? There are power cables, old style aerial wire, hdmi, and snother lead that you push o to 3 prongs.

Aerial from wall to freeview box
hdmi from freeview box to TV
use freeview remote

If you can turn the TV on and tune it into the freeview box by pressing buttons on the TV, then I think you don't need another remote.
Aerial goes from wall into freeview box. Then you need a connection between freeview box and TV.
