Help! Shipping to Brazil-Google no help!!

I need to post a parcel to Brazil-and I don't want to ask recipient advice as it is a surprise.

When I google it only gives me ads for various options-just hoping someone can advise!!

I looked into doing this a few years back and it was so complicated. It looked as if I needed to enter details of the recipients Tax ID (so sending a surprise could be difficult) due to Brazil’s postal regulations. The Royal Mail website has quite a good guide to the forms you have to fill out but I gave up I’m afraid. Sorry not much help.
