I tried Wild recently but like a few others, have experienced it gets very messy as you reach the last bits. When looking at the cost, I feel it is far too expensive to throw the ends away and put them in a jar to apply with my hands. However, if I am going to do this, may as well use a deodorant pot - I love Natural Deodorant Co (used this since 2018 until the stick application and good availability of Wild tempted me to give it a try) and will be going back to it.

In terms of the deodorant itself, I found Wild to be extremely effective, no funny reactions or itching and I like the smell

I’ve tried both and like Fussy best. I didn’t like Wild as it’s too bitty and didn’t really ‘dissolve’ and left lots of white bits under my arms. Fussy is much easier to apply and smells nicer.

I tried the wild one and liked it but my skin didn't react well so it was back to an aerosol for me

I use Fussy and love it. You don't need to rub it in. All the scents I've tried have been really nice and are quite natural and not overpowering. My favourite so far is Night Tales (Cedar, cinnamon and rose). Tesco now stock the refills so you don't have to have a subscription either.

TightPants · 28/04/2023 16:03

I like Wild, and it works for me.
What I don’t like though, is the mess (as others have said), having to dig out the last few days worth of deodorant with my nail or it’s wasted, and the cost.
I can get through a refill in two weeks and at £5-£6 per refill it’s expensive.

That's interesting, I've just worked out that one Fussy refill lasts me 3 months.

Ah now that is v.interesting! Now we have the dispensers, we won't need the expensive subscription. We never get thru all the refills in 3 months and often postpone the order. I wonder what would happen if we just cancelled one of the orders.. they would probably continue charging the subscription and you get no refills. I haven't tried it yet though.

I like Night Tales the best too. Atm I'm using Sundrunk and it's not as nice.

Also often the scents I want aren't available when it comes round to ordering so that's annoying.

Can I ask how often you reapply in a day? I'd class myself as moderately sweaty but I have it on the longest subscription option and regularly delay or skip deliveries because I've barely got through them. 1 refill easily lasts me 6 weeks or so.

yummypancakes · 29/04/2023 22:24

I use Fussy and I’m very happy with it, tried a few scents, think citrus is the best so far. Very easy to pause your subscription as needed.

Bluebells1970 · 29/04/2023 22:25

I was so impressed with Wild for the 1st month but then it seemed to stop working for me and I stank!

I've gone back to natural charcoal deodorants, these work really well for me.

IhearyouClemFandango · 29/04/2023 22:26

I use Fussy. I have used it for about 18 months and am v please with it. I’d like them to bring back the Parma violet scent though.

LunaNorth · 29/04/2023 22:31

I used Wild for a couple of years, but I’ve gone back to Mitchum. The refills are really expensive, and I can’t be doing with white marks all over my clothes.

Toomanylatenightprogs · 30/04/2023 02:39

Wild coconut and vanilla. Don’t usually like scented deodorants but this one is really pleasant. I’ve had no skin problems with it at all and I have really sensitive skin.
Previously I’ve made my own using the sixfiguresunder recipe a pp described but it destroyed my skin.

cryinglaughing · 30/04/2023 02:58

I use Fussy, the scents are really nice and fresh and last all day.

You don't have to subscribe, you can buy as and when you need to.

crackfoxy · 30/04/2023 09:48

Found both crap! A faff and still smelt

slapmyarseandcallmemary · 30/04/2023 09:52

I have wild. It was a game changer for me. I used to sweat loads but don't now. Highly recommended.

pictoosh · 30/04/2023 09:55

I use Fussy and really like it. I'm active and exercise a lot so it has been put through its paces. It works and smells lovely. I like the scent with the patchouli in it. I think the others smell nice too.
I am rather enthused by it.

Madamecastafiore · 30/04/2023 11:26

Keep thinking of swapping but worried I'll get white smears all over my clothes. Is this a problem with either of the brands?

No white smears with Fussy!

PeriwinkleForever · 02/05/2023 08:00

I have been using Wild for a year and I really like it. However, I get through the refills quickly and I’m getting increasingly annoyed by how soft they are and the mess they make. Based on the comments above I’ve decided to give Fussy a try so will see how it compares.

managed to get a referral code for 50% off, so a case + two refills for £10 delivered.

will post my link on the bargains and referrals board if anyone else wants to use it.

I’d be interested in the code but can’t find the referrals board, I’d like to give Fussy a try. Tesco have it on a Clubcard deal at £9 for a case and refill so the £10 offer is very good.

VeggieSalsa · 02/05/2023 09:27

I use Wild, I like the range of scents (although some are a bit wacky) … but the white marks it leaves on clothes are frustrating. I have tried leaving for up to 30 mins before putting on a top, but it still leaves significant marks on black / dark clothes.

poorremus · 02/05/2023 09:36

I really like using Wild - but changing the refill for the first time was an experienceGrin. Once I found some decent instructions it was easy. I exercise regularly and although I notice that I am sweating, it certainly doesn't smell of anything but the fragrance of the deodorant. No white marks either.

So all in all I'm glad I made the change.

TherealmrsT · 27/04/2023 08:48

I tried Wild when my usual was out of stock. Was conscious I smelled (gave it more than a couple of weeks then gave up).

Me too. Tried it for a decent period of time to eliminate any transition issues. It's simply crap, it doesn't work at all.
