Walkers Ready Salted
Easy to please kid

Mammyloveswine · 28/04/2023 23:07

I buy a 30 pack per fortnight... two Ds'!

Mindovermatter247 · 28/04/2023 23:10

Whichever ones are on offer… this week DS finished of his mccoys flame grilled steak and dd had ready salted. DS thankfully likes more of a range but dd only likes about 4 kinds, makes it harder to find.. managed so far luckily

WinginItAtDIY · 28/04/2023 23:30

We go through far too many. Dh eats 3 a day, Older teen 1 daily. Younger ones prob 3 bags a week each.
I get anything always a potato crisp, then a maize type.
Normally 24 of each give or take.

Yes i know its loads and no they're not all overweight and otherwise eat healthy.

MrsSkylerWhite · 28/04/2023 23:34

Didn’t, bought popcorn, much nicer.

MeinKraft · 28/04/2023 23:37

This is a fun thread. Not an organic parsnip chip in sight. Where were all of you on the Rice Krispies and supernoodles threads when we needed you Grin

I still buy baby snacks for my 4 years old.

BHRK · 29/04/2023 10:25

Loads, they eat a packet a day. Eat loads of fruit and veg so I don’t care really

Sorry, I didn't notice them.

Walkers cheese and onion or roast chicken flavour. Either six packs or 12 packs and always when they are on offer. It's not much of a saving but everyone is pretty restrained so they don't scoff the lot at once.

The potato is the only thing that crisps should be made of. Other root vegetables don't work and the beetroot ones look like scabs.

FfeminyddCymraeg · 29/04/2023 11:25

Beef and salt and vinegar hula hoops. I buy a 6 pack of each a week.

DH is a crisp fiend and goes through lots of sharing bags - usually beef and something.

Poke · 29/04/2023 11:28

Love crisps in this house.
we all eat about a packet a day, so get through multipack bags (22/30) each week. Usually Tesco or Sainsbury’s.

HowManySunflowers · 29/04/2023 11:31

I buy a 12 pack of mixed flavour hula hoops. It never lasts the week. 5 of us in the house.

Wellfedandfedup · 29/04/2023 11:42

I have a weakness for crisps- sharp flavours. Salt and vinegar, pickled onion. I used to buy them and eat 6 packets. They're so unhealthy so we don't have in house usually. About once a month i buy them and keep in car- They're handy for outings!

Wellfedandfedup · 29/04/2023 11:43

I wish i found monster munch disgusting Blush but I bloody love them

Emmamoo89 · 29/04/2023 11:43

PotKettel · 27/04/2023 02:44

I buy a pack of Organix tomato noughts and crosses most weeks because my dd 12 adores them. But she doesn’t eat crisps every day.

I usually also buy a pack of Monster munch or wotsits or quavers - less popular and so gross I’m not tempted to eat them. My dc age 4 doesn’t eat crisps.

Now ask me about sweet treats, that’s where it all goes pear-shaped.

Erm monster munch are amazing especially pickled onion 😋

Pickled onion. Can eat the whole bag in one sitting + pickled onion walkers Blush

SootspriteSearcher · 29/04/2023 11:53

I buy a 30 pack of assorted crisps from aldi about every 2/3 weeks. Dd1 only eats ready salted and dd2 is the crisp hooverer, any flavour will do! Her favourite is chip sticks which I Occasionally find in poundland which I buy aswell as the 30!

I like a pom bear or hula hoop (or cheap alternatives!) I don't buy them as I'm trying to cut down on snacking!

Occasionally at weekends/days out/ picnics I will buy the kids cheesy doritos and me the bbq bugles. Dh has just bought the lamb and mint walkers which we both LOVE so I'm very excited to have some later if he shares!!

TheLostNights · 29/04/2023 11:55

We eat a lot of crisps but I refuse to buy a lot of brands due to price. Usually it's Lidl own brand which for now are under a pound for six.

Wellfedandfedup · 29/04/2023 11:55

Oh by the way bought Lidl Salt n Vinegar in a rush for a day trip and they're crap. Think branded is the way to go- Golden Wonder.

Xennellium · 29/04/2023 12:01

Whatever's on offer. A 6 pack never lasts more than a day, sometimes I even get a bag 😂

Mrsjayy · 29/04/2023 12:03

AtleastitsnotMonday · 27/04/2023 13:24

Aldi do an equivalent, they are delicious and about half the price. I'd say they taste like a cross between a Pringle and a popodom

Also Home Bargains do nice lentil crisps I wish I could remember the name of them !

We buy a multipack of ready salted and cheese and onion and also a big bag of something usually onion rings cheese puffs or lentil crisps for the weekend.

Mrsjayy · 29/04/2023 12:05

Crisps usually last a week , stopped buying multipack flavours because there is always prawn cocktail 🤢

Mrsjayy · 29/04/2023 12:06

Oh I noticed the thread title we have no kids here just us 😃

Wanttoshavemyhairoff · 29/04/2023 12:11

Rarely buy crisps because I’d just eat them all! Kids are not allowed crisps in school so I generally only buy a 6 pack per week over the summer for picnics. Also only buy ones I don’t like so I’m not tempted 😂
When we have people over I usually buy bags of Doritos , keogh’s and Pringle’s for dips .
