I've been selling on eBay for many years & have 100% feedback with over 1200 positive feedback. Due to the postal strikes over Xmas I had a few parcels go missing & was refunded by Royal Mail in postage stamps so decided to try Vinted instead. On the whole it's been fab, much easier & no fees. I had one buyer claim an item had holes/stains but after sending evidence to Vinted they blocked the buyer & said I didn't need to refund (it was a new buyer)
I sold an item last week to a new buyer again & today they have collected the item but said it's been cut in the one area not shown by photos on the Vinted page. All my items are checked by 2 people before being listed & again as its packaged up - it was definitely not CUT at all before it was sent. I'm wondering if they have caught it when they have opened the package or if they are trying it on & want to swap a faulty item for my item. I have offered a full refund if they return it so I can check it for myself but this has been refused. What else can I do? Do I get Vinted involved again when I don't have evidence of this exact bit on a photo so would be buyers word against mine?
