How many miles on the clock is acceptable?

I'm selling my car as it's caused me nothing but trouble since I got it.

I only have an auto license.

I know nothing about cars. How many miles on the clock is too many?

I don't mind a petrol or a diesel.

Can you find a friend to help? It depends on many factors. Get one with a warranty and you can take it back to be fixed.

After having a mare selling my car do not use motorway, Carwow or we buy any car!
Stick to Autotrader, it will also guide you to what similar cars with similar mileage are.

Mileage doesn't matter on a diesel providing it's been regularly serviced. Anything over 10-12k per year of age is considered high mileage generally for cars.

It depends really, diesel engines can do more miles than petrol. Also depends on the make and model. A bigger cc engine will be able to cope with more miles than a smaller one.
