Reconditioned Airpods?

Does anyone have experience of buying these and could they recommend a reliable place to buy them? Daughter wants them for her birthday and just think the "real" ones are too much!

I'm presuming reconditioned includes cleaning! I have a reconditioned phone I suppose someone else breathed on it before me!

I know, I've looked at cheaper brands,but any I've tried before just fell out my ears! I'm Android so have just got some over ear ones, but dh and other dc have airpods and say they never fall out.

I would definitely buy reconditioned AirPods, and yes they will have been cleaned 🙄

I would try the Apple website (they have a refurb section) or BackMarket

None on apple at the moment but I will look at backmarket thank you, hadn't heard of them!
