Help! How to open Mazda back doors?

Hopefully a MNer has a Mazda they know how to use...

I have a Mazda courtesy car. DD and her friend have just had to climb in and out of the back seats through the front because I have no idea how to open the back doors. There's nothing recognisable as a handle on the inside or the outside.

Any ideas? I have it until Friday and will have child passengers every day.

Can you google the make/model manual?

I've Googled but it just comes up with articles on how to lock/unlock from the driver's seat.

I would guess (I don't own one) but if you open the front doors there is a mechanism in between the doors to open the back?

There's something that looks sort-of likely but I've pushed and pulled it every which way and it's not budging.

Could there be a child lock on that's stopping the mechanism?

I usually YouTube these things, there must be one for this car?

This is the stupidest design BTW.

Have to agree - that design looks so impractical!

They open backwards lol

He says it makes putting your kids in and out of car seats easy but that looks like it would be a nightmare for rear facing seats.

Success! I've put them in - thanks @Shade17. It looks like I'll need to get out and open the door from the outside to get them out again though 😕 I'm never buying one of these.
