My 5yo started reception in Sept.
Since then we have been hammered with everything, every 2-3 weeks it's something else. We've been through the usual coughs/colds, and then we've had sickness bugs, HFM, chickenpox, Covid, tonsillitis, ear infections, croup - the list is endless!
He's come home today with another cough and snot running down his face, meaning the start of probably another week of illness.
He eats fruit/veg, takes a multivitamin daily, plenty of fresh air/exercise, good sleeper (when not ill!), good at washing hands, covering mouth etc.
It was never this bad at nursery/preschool!
Anyone else with a reception age child in the same boat?
Has anyone found anything that really helps keep the bugs at bay - any different vitamins etc?
Send help! The relentless illnesses are becoming draining for everyone and I keep having to take unpaid leave from a workplace that isn't very understanding.
